These terms set clear expectations for using the Lean Plate website, the LeanPlate app, and our nutrition coaching services.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://leanplatebykamal.com, the LeanPlate app for Android, and services offered by Lean Plate by Kamal ("Lean Plate", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the website, creating an app account, or purchasing a service or subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website, the app, or our services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to purchase coaching services. You agree to provide accurate information and use the website only for lawful purposes.
You must not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights.
Lean Plate provides general nutrition education, habit coaching, accountability, and personalized guidance based on information you provide — whether through a coaching engagement or the LeanPlate app. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and our services are not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional. This applies in full if you use the app's diabetes-management goal setting or any other health-related feature.
The app's calorie and nutrient figures come from public food databases (such as IFCT and USDA) and standardized recipe estimates. Real dishes vary by ingredients and preparation, so treat every number as an informed estimate, not a laboratory measurement.
Consult an appropriate healthcare professional before making material dietary, exercise, or lifestyle changes, especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of disordered eating, or experience concerning symptoms. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you share, for disclosing relevant health concerns, and for deciding whether and how to act on coaching guidance. Stop any activity that causes pain, illness, or an adverse reaction and seek professional care when appropriate.
Coaching depends on consistent participation and communication. Testimonials, transformations, calculators, estimates, and examples on the website are illustrative and do not promise that you will achieve the same outcome.
The scope, duration, fees, billing schedule, and included support for a coaching plan will be shown at purchase or confirmed with you before service begins. You agree to pay the stated fees and any applicable taxes using an accepted payment method.
Cancellation, rescheduling, pause, and refund terms communicated for your selected plan at purchase or in a written coaching agreement form part of these Terms. If those specific terms conflict with this page, the specific purchase or coaching terms control. Unless expressly stated otherwise, website prices and availability may change before purchase.
To use the LeanPlate app you must be at least 18 years old, create one account for your own personal use, and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
LeanPlate Pro is an optional monthly subscription. Its current price, billing period, and any free-trial length are shown in the app before you subscribe and may change over time — the price shown at checkout is the price that applies. Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay and renew automatically each period until cancelled; after cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for. A free trial, where offered, requires no payment and ends automatically unless you subscribe.
Fair use of coach access: ask-the-coach questions are limited to a weekly quota shown in the app, exist to support genuine coaching, and must not be used to harass, spam, or abuse your coach or other members. We may suspend or terminate an account for abuse of coach access, fraudulent payment activity, sharing an account, or uploading unlawful content (including in progress photos or voice notes).
The website, brand, text, graphics, meal-planning materials, coaching resources, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Lean Plate and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use materials supplied to you for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, sell, publish, or distribute them without written permission.
The website may link to services such as WhatsApp and Instagram, and the app relies on Firebase/Google for optional phone sign-in and push notifications and on Razorpay for subscription payments. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
The website and its general content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that all content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lean Plate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the website or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including what the LeanPlate app collects. We may suspend or end access to the website, the app, or a service for material breach, unlawful or abusive conduct, non-payment, or a safety concern, subject to any applicable agreement and law. You may delete your own app account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your data. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or dispute process that applies to you.
